Comfortable Care, Powered by Technology
At BZ Orthodontics in Lansdale, Dr. Brian Zebrick uses modern technology to create a smoother, more comfortable experience from day one. That means quicker appointments, clearer answers, and a treatment plan designed specifically around your smile and your schedule.
See Your Smile in 3D
CBCT Scanner
A CBCT (cone beam computed tomography) scanner provides Dr. Zebrick with a detailed 3D view of your teeth, jaw, and surrounding structures—all in a quick, comfortable scan. Unlike traditional X-rays, this technology lets us see exactly how everything fits together, so we can plan your treatment with greater accuracy from the start.
Our office is proud to use the advanced Green CBCT, specifically the Vatech PaX-i3D Green system—one of the only systems of its kind in the area. This technology is FDA-cleared for pediatric use and is designed with safety in mind, delivering ultra-low radiation doses that can be even lower than some traditional 2D imaging. Plus, it captures high-quality 3D images in under 6 seconds, which means less time in the chair and less overall exposure—especially important for kids and teens.
What that means for you is fewer surprises and more confidence in your care. Dr. Zebrick can spot potential issues earlier, design a treatment plan that’s truly customized to your anatomy, and make more precise adjustments along the way. It’s a smarter, safer way to create results that look great and feel right.
Why It Matters for Your Treatment
- More precise planning from day one: Your treatment is mapped around your exact anatomy, not estimates.
- Fewer surprises along the way: We can identify potential issues early and plan ahead.
- Better, more predictable results: Every adjustment is based on detailed, accurate imaging.
- Faster, more comfortable scans: High-quality images are captured in seconds—no long appointments or messy impressions.
- Lower radiation, greater peace of mind: Advanced Green CBCT technology is designed to minimize exposure, making it a safer option for patients of all ages, especially children.
- Improved safety and efficiency: We see what’s happening beneath the surface, so nothing gets overlooked.
Precision Treatment With In-Office 3D Printing
How 3D Printing Supports Your Care
While your Invisalign aligners are expertly manufactured by Invisalign, our in-office 3D printer plays an important role in making your treatment more efficient and personalized. Using your digital scans and treatment plan, we can create highly accurate models of your teeth right here in our office.
These models allow Dr. Zebrick to closely evaluate your progress, refine the details of your treatment, and even fabricate helpful appliances, such as retainers. It’s all about having greater control and flexibility throughout your orthodontic journey.
Why It Makes a Difference
- More precise treatment oversight: Printed models let us closely monitor tooth movement at every stage.
- Faster replacements and retainers: Lost an aligner or finished treatment? We can often create what you need more quickly.
- Improved efficiency: In-office technology reduces delays and keeps your progress on track.
- Better customization: We can fine-tune details and ensure everything fits your treatment plan perfectly.
- Consistent, high-quality results: Digital accuracy combined with in-office control helps deliver reliable outcomes.
Invisalign Smile Architect
See Your Future Smile First
One of the most exciting advancements in Invisalign treatment is the new Smile Architect technology. Using advanced AI, this tool turns your personalized ClinCheck plan into a realistic “after” simulation, so you can preview your future smile before treatment even begins.
What Is Smile Architect
Smile Architect is Invisalign’s latest AI-powered feature, enhancing your treatment planning experience. It builds on the ClinCheck system by creating a visual simulation of your expected results, based on your unique tooth movement and facial structure. Instead of imagining the outcome, you get to see it.
How It Works
After your digital scan, Dr. Zebrick designs your treatment using Invisalign’s ClinCheck software. From there, Smile Architect uses artificial intelligence to generate a detailed preview of your post-treatment smile, showing how your teeth will look once everything is aligned. It’s fast, precise, and tailored specifically to you.
Why Patients Love It
- Confidence from day one: You’ll know what to expect before committing to treatment.
- Better communication: It’s easier to understand your plan when you can actually see the end result.
- More personalized care: Your treatment isn’t just mapped—it’s visualized and refined with your goals in mind.
- Motivation throughout treatment: Seeing your future smile makes it easier to stay on track with aligner wear.
Smile Architect takes the guesswork out of orthodontics and replaces it with clarity. It’s just one more way we use advanced technology to make your experience smoother, more predictable, and a lot more exciting.
